Terms of Service
AshNote is offered exclusively to businesses (Unternehmer, § 14 German Civil Code) and public-sector bodies. The contract language is German: the binding terms are the German AGB (Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen), including the annex on provider switching (EU Data Act). The summary below is a courtesy translation; in case of any conflict, the German text prevails. See also Privacy and the legal notice.
Key points (summary, not binding)
- Provider: arrowhacks GmbH & Co. KG, Mannheim, Germany (see legal notice).
- Business use only (B2B): the paid Team plan is offered exclusively to businesses and public-sector bodies. Business status is confirmed at checkout; there is no consumer right of withdrawal.
- Subscription: Team plan per user per month, billed via Stripe, auto-renewing, cancellable to the end of each billing month.
- Availability: 99 % overall availability for the paid plan, as defined in the AGB.
- Free service: anonymous and free registered use are provided free of charge and without an availability guarantee.
- Provider switching (EU Data Act): data export on request, no switching fees; details in the annex of the AGB.
- Service & security: zero-knowledge encryption as described under Security.
